Hi! My name is Thomas Reed, owner of MOV Home Inspections LLC.
My journey into Home Inspections began about three years ago as a
weekend hobby. Like so many other careers, my employer of eleven years downsized. So, with a lot of love and support from friends and family,
I decided to turn my hobby into a new full time career choice.
MOV Home Inspections LLC is locally based out of

a General Home Inspection?
Roofing Defects
Improper / Incomplete Shingle Installation. Found during an Inspection in Vienna WV
The Chimney was seal with excessive amounts of silicone sealant. Found during an inspection in Wirt County WV
Roof had an extreme amount of granules built up in the gutters indicating the roof was at or near its end of service life.. Found during an inspection in Parkersburg WV

Plumbing and Venting
Defects
Multiple issues here the biggest is the non professional repairs, but also the different types of plumbing material connected using glue. While they do make a glue specifically for this type of connection it can not be verified this is how the connection was made that's why a mechanical connection is recommend. Found during an inspection in Belpre OH
While these types of devises are sold nation wide as a source of heat. They are not recommended. These types of devices can increase the moister levels in the room. Increased moisture can cause staining and potently promote mold growth. Found during an inspection in Belpre OH
